Alicia Brown is the senior paralegal at the Ortiz Law Firm. Alicia started with the firm in May 2013.
Alicia has helped many clients feel comfortable with the legal process and up to date with their cases. She is a Pensacola native who enjoyed growing up alongside her best friend Jessie. Most of her family lives in Tennessee near Memphis, and she always enjoys visiting them every chance she gets.
Alicia studied sports medicine at West Florida High School, where she worked on a project that brought her into contact with Emmitt Smith. She interviewed him and persuaded him to come to her school and speak. That is an experience she will never forget.
In her adult life, Alicia enjoys traveling and seeing live music. Her favorite concert that she has seen so far was Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds in New Orleans and the Saenger Theater. Her favorite places to travel are to Colorado and Savannah Georgia. On her last trip to Savannah she and her husband Zack ran into Trey Anastasio, the lead guitarist and singer of the band Phish—one of Zack’s favorite bands.
The light of her world is her son Jackson. He was born in 2016 and actually shares a birthday with Mr. Ortiz. Jackson has given her a new meaning of a full life. She and her family spend their weekends going on new adventures with him. They enjoy going to the beach, hiking nature trails, and eating good food at some local restaurants. She looks forward to watching him grow up and hopes to be able to travel with him to see all the wonderful sites the United States and the world has to offer.
