Pensacola, Florida - A 25-year-old Pensacola man is likely to be charged with vehicular manslaughter and DUI manslaughter after an accident that occurred early Saturday morning. The man was traveling west on West Michigan Avenue at around 2:00 a.m. when he rear-ended a Ford Mustang driven by a 60-year-old Pensacola resident. The impact caused the Mustang to rotate and crash into a utility light and a Tom Thumb sign, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The at-fault driver, who was driving with a suspended license at the time of the accident, was treated for minor injuries at Sacred Heart Hospital, and is now being held at the Escambia County Jail, without bond.
