Milton, Florida – A Santa Rosa man is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail after losing control of a Polaris RZR side-by-side, injuring his two juvenile passengers. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the man, 24, was traveling northbound on Springdale Drive in Milton, Florida, when he crashed the off-road vehicle. Following an investigation, the man was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing serious bodily injury, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, serving alcohol to a minor, and violating a traffic control device.
As of Monday night, the man was still in jail, with a bond set at $5,500. According to FHP’s news release, the investigation is ongoing and may result in additional charges against the driver.
