Pensacola, Florida – Around one thousand customers in and around the Pleasant Grove area lost power when a driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel and struck a utility pole. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the 33-year-old driver was traveling north on Gulf Beach Highway at around 5:15 a.m. when the accident occurred. The driver, who sustained minor injuries, told authorities that he was tired from work.
