Woman And Five Children Injured In I-10 Rollover

July 20, 2020 //  by Dawn Keller//  Leave a Comment

Pensacola, Florida – A 26-year-old woman and five children, ranging in age from 1 to 10, were injured in a rollover accident on Interstate 10. The crash occurred between the exits for Highway 29 and Davis Highway. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a rear tire blew out on the driver’s 2005 Dodge Durango, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle, which was heading eastbound, slid across multiple lanes and rolled over after colliding with a guardrail. The driver and passengers were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital, where a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old were treated for serious injuries, while the driver and other passengers suffered minor injuries. The woman has been charged with driving with a suspended license and failing to provide an adequate child restraint device.
